The Lesotho Blood Transfusion Services(LBTS) has urged Basotho, to donate blood in preparation for the Easter holidays to save lives.
LBTS Manager Mrs ‘Maleqhoa Nyopa said the blood bank is running dry, as blood they previously collected from school is distributed in different hospitals.
She further said blood demand is high during Easter holidays, and it is important that it is collected in advance.
She indicated that LBTS is invited to collect blood from different offices in the country, starting from today until Wednesday this week.
LBTS encourages Basotho to donate blood in different hospitals in the country, which include Queen II in Maseru, Mohale’s Hospital and at Motebang Hospital in Leribe.
