The Minister of Health Honorable Nkaku Kabi officially opened a meeting, prior to the 12th SCCA conference and Exihibition of The African Continent in Maseru yesterday.

Honorable Kabi indicated that Lesotho is very pleased to host the biggest conference this year, and it is an opportunity of a lifetime presented to Basotho on a silver Platter, to learn more about the cancer disease.

He further said this is the time for Africans to hold hands, and make one strong nation and all be united against cancer.

On that occasion the chairman of the board of the Princess Nicky Cancer Foundation Engineer Nnamdi Udoh, said the only way cancer can be defeated is when people work together with love, caring and understanding about this deadly disease.

He further encouraged them to be physically and psychologically strong, and all Africans should stand strong and be united against cancer.

However the 12th SCCA cancer Conference hosted by the Lesotho First Lady Mrs Maesiah Thabane,  will be officially opened by His Majesty King Letsie III at ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre in Maseru this morning.
