Maseru __ The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane says there is a need for the government of Lesotho to establish the Lesotho Institute of diplomacy.

While elaborating on this matter, Mr. Mpotjoane said this will enable the government to tackle issues around diplomatic missions and other related matters.

He indicated that the establishment of the institution will help with addressing issues of unemployment that the country is faced with as Basotho will gain opportunities of being deployed in other countries.

On the other hand, Mr. Mpotjoane delineated that the Lesotho Institute of diplomacy will help Lesotho with the reviewing of foreign policies also.

In a recent matter, the government of Lesotho has announced that the cabinet of ministers has reached a decision to allow for VISA free entry of European Union countries into Lesotho.

Also, the Republic of South Africa has also allowed for a 3 months VISA free movement for Basotho and the same for South Africans.
