The Blue bank Standard Lesotho Bank has  signed a memorandum of understanding with Habitat for humanity Lesotho on Monday commiting itself to work together with the organization that has been building houses for the vulnerable groups of Lesotho since 2001

Owing to Mr.Mpho Vumbukani the chief executive officer of the blue bank started working together with Habitat from 2013 providing financial resources,and has built 5 houses to date with the banks’staff donating its time to manual labour of the projects called bank at work ,which has aided 25 vulnerable  families to access decent shelter

He proceeded with handing a 400 hundred thousand maloti qheque to Mrs.Mathabo Makuta who expressed bliss over the grant promising that it is going to build for the destitute starting with a 65 year old of Vukasenzele in Morija,she added that of late Habitat is installing an African clean energy stove in every house it builds for the health  and safety of the households

The donation is purpoted to sponsor the building of 6 two-roomed houses over a period of 3 years
