A thirty seven years old Kenyan man Martin Masika who is staying in St. Paul Butha-Buthe, appeared before the Butha-Buthe Magistrate Court on the 8th October 2018 for allegedly aborting a seventeen years old girl.

He was given a bail of M1 500 and to pay a M5 000 surety which he all paid, and he will appear in court again on the 22nd October 2018.

The acting Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) Spokesperson Senior Inspector Rantoane Motsoetla, said the man helped women and girls with abortion and they paid him M900.

On the other hand Senior Inspector Motsoetla said a thirty years old man from Berea who is a member of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF), appeared before the Berea Magistrate Court on the 5th October 2018 for allegedly raping her twelve years old daughter.

According to Senior Inspector Motsoetla, the man woke up in the morning and went into his daughter’s bedroom, where he woke her up and forced her to suck his private parts in June 2018, leaving his wife behind in their bedroom.

Senior Inspector Motsoetla said the girl told her mother about the matter, who reported it to the police and the man was arrested.
