The country is experiencing very hot weather Conditions since yesterday the 13 November until Saturday the 17 November 2018 due to a heat wave.

The western parts of Lesotho that extend from Bothabothe all the way to Quthing are expected to be mostly hit the hardest by this heat wave,While the highland will be slightly impacted.

The temperatures are anticipated to continue increasing reaching their highest values on Friday 16 November 2018 where most places in the lowlands, shall record maximum temperatures of up to 36 degress celciuos.

The nation is therefore advised to take precautionary measures against the heat,such as staying in well ventilated areas. Constant and frequent hydration is highly recommended during this period.

The elderly and infants are the most vulnerable to these conditions and measures should be taken to ensure that they adhere to health advisories for combating heat.
