Limkonkwing University of Creative Technology will launch a campaign of encouraging young people to start their own businesses on the 22nd May 2019 in Maseru.

The campaign is organized by public relations students and Faculty of Communications and Media Broadcasting of the university.

According to the statement, the campaign whose theme is “Inspiring Future Entrepreneurs Through Media” aims to inspire entrepreneurs through media, attract more potential youth entrepreneurs, and appreciate the efforts made by different media houses, through their different programmes that encourage youth to venture into businesses.

The university also says the situation analysis conducted by Public Relations students, revealed that most youth find it hard to start and maintain businesses, because of challenges including the difficulty they face in acquiring funds.

The report says young people do not know about the opportunities available for them to start businesses.
