Police in Mokomene in the Limpopo province of South Africa, are looking for the person who stabbed a college student to death in the early hours of last Sunday.

Reports say twenty-one years old Precious Ramabulana from Capricorn TVET College, was sexually assaulted and stabbed to death 52 times.

According to the report, Ramabulana was asleep in her rented room at ga-Joel Section in Mokomene, when the suspect gained entry through the window, and started attacking her at around 2:30am.

The Mokomene police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo, said the student’s frantic screams were heard by a neigbour who called the police.

He said when police arrived, her body was found in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds, and the motive of the attack is not yet known.
