Following the World Health Organisation’s recent determination of a novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19, Avani Hotels and Casino Lesotho emphasized their commitment to the health and safety of guests and team members all the times.

In a statement Avani announced that they are monitoring the situation closely, and will continue working with local health authorities to ensure that their hotels are prepared to take additional preventive measures, should circumstances indicate.

The statement indicates that all Avani Hotels in Lesotho are fully compliant with local health authority regulations, and additional precautionary measures have also been implemented to ensure the highest standard of health and safety at all times.

Avani Hotels and Casino has taken precautionary measure, to close the gym and saunas with effect from the 13th March 2020, which have been identified as the highest touch point areas.

The statement also indicates that all existing gym members’ contracts will be suspended for the duration of the closure, and will be reactivated once the facility is reopened.
