Prime Minister Dr. Moeketsi Majoro and other stakeholders in the fight against crime, visited a family of a 25 years old woman, who was raped and killed and her body parts were found scattered at Kholokoe in the Leribe district last week.

Dr. Majoro said as the government they have been in office for two months by now, with the aim to serve the Basotho nation, but they see criminals moving around disrespecting Basotho.

He said he saw on social media pictures of separated body parts of a woman, showing that her killers cut them off and threw them in different places in the village.

In his remarks Dr. Majoro said this shows that Lesotho is no longer a peaceful country of Moshoeshoe, as Basotho are now living with enemies in their villages.

He said he told his ministers that he is tired of attending funerals of people who it is not clear as to why and how they were murdered, and also of the increasing reports of women abuse in Lesotho.

He said he instructed his ministers to instill fear in the hearts of thieves and rapists starting from today.

He further assured Basotho that as the government; they are intending to protect them as they have enough resources.
