After The Shocking death of the  Founding President of the Republic of  Zambia Dr Kenneth Kaunda,The Right Honorable The Prime Minister Dr Moeketsi Majoro expressed profound sorrow and commiserates with  Zambians who are mourning the passing of this great man

In his message of heartfelt  condolences Dr Majoro said in Lesotho  Dr Kenneth Kaundas  contribution in hosting some of Lesotho’s very own political stalwarts , including Dr Ntsu Mokhehle among others  in the liberation struggle for Basotho political and economic emancipation and true Democracy in 1970 will forever be cherished.

KK as he is popularly known will be remembered for his outstanding leadership, a source of inspiration to Pan-Africanism and liberation struggle of his era successive generations.

President Kaunda stood out as one of the humane and idealistic African Leaders in the post independence  age and he can be counted amongst  the first generation of post independence African leaders  such as south Africa’s Nelson Mandela, Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe and Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah
