The Minister of Water Honorabl Nkaku Kabi visited the vegetable farm in Butha-Buthe at Maanela. This came after the announcement by the Right Honorable the Prime Minister Moeketsi Majoro where he ordered the Ministry of water to provide water to the said area.

Honorable Kabi paid a visit to Maanela after the farmers in this area made a clarion call to the government about their water tank that fell and broke. They also cried about their sources of which cannot keep enough water for watering the crops.

However the minister of water Nkaku Kabi made a promise to the farmers of Maanela that the government will help them by digging new boreholes so that they will be able to keep water.

Kabi also indicated that the government will  donate a new water tank for Maanela farmers so that they keep growing more crops and vegetables.
