Mohale's Hoek_The Lesotho Mounted Police Public Relations Officer Senior Superintendent Kabelo Halahala, has on Monday confirmed that the suspect in the shooting of a 38-year-old man from Liphiring is still at large.

This transpired in an interview with the Agency, where Senior Superintendent Halahala stated that the incident is reported to have occurred in the early hours of Sunday, while the deceased and his girlfriend were on their way from a local bar and a man barged out of nowhere, shot the deceased then fled the scene.

He concluded by advising civilians to stop being at bars until early hours of the morning, to avoid falling victims of these criminal activities.

This incident happened hardly a week after the District Commissioner of Police Senior Superintendent 'Matholoana Tholoana raised her concern during the Police's National prayer, regarding the high rate of shootings happening at Taung, and calling upon pastors to have a special prayer for that village.
