LESOTHO GOVERNMENT RECALLS ITS AMBASSADORS AND HIGH COMMISSIONERS ABROAD
Lesotho government recalls its Ambassadors and High Commissioners abroad

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Honourable Dr ‘Mamphono Khaketla has recalled Lesotho’s envoys abroad to Headquarters in Maseru for consultations.  The consultations will be held at Avani Maseru Hotel from Monday 27 February to Friday 03 March, 2017.

The deliberations will focus, among others, on the Missions’ contribution towards the Ministry’s goals and objectives, reporting on Missions’ activities where the envoys will be expected to present their Mission reports on various issues governing Lesotho’s Foreign Diplomatic Service.  There will also be interaction with various line Ministries and some private sector institutions. The envoys will also have an opportunity to attend parliament for the Budget Speech presentation.

The Ambassadors and High Commissioners that are expected to participate are: H.E. Mr Paramente Phamotse from Dublin,  Ireland; H.E. Prof Molapi Sebatana from Washington, USA; H.E. Mr Nyolosi Mphale from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; H.E. Ms Lebohang Ntšinyi from Beijing, China; H.E. Mr Kelebone Maope New York, USA; H.E. Mrs Mahase-Moiloa from Brussels, Belgium; H.E. Dr Mabaphuthing Moorosi-Molapo from Kuala-Lumpur, Malaysia; H.E. Mrs Lineo Molise-Mabusela from Rome, Italy; and H. E. Mr Popane Lebesa from Kuwait City, Kuwait.

The meeting on Monday 27th will begin at 08:30hrs, where the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mr Tšokolo Maina will pass the Opening Remarks, while the Honourable Minister Dr Khaketla will officiate.
