A 22 year old man of Ha Qoane Motlatsi oa Rantoane appeared before the Maseru Magistrate Court charged with murder and attempted murder.

The Lesotho Mounted Police Services reports revealed that the suspect is alleged to have shot two Lesotho Defence  Force(LDF) officials and a street vendor at the Maseru Border Post on the 10^th May 2017.

The reports further divulged that in the incidence, a street vendor bit the dust and one LDF member died on hospital arrival while other member is recovering at the Queen ‘Mamohato Memorial Hospital.

Rantoane who is currently in custody will reappear in the Maseru Magistrate Court on the 30^th May 2017.
