The Lesotho Mounted Police Services has warned Basotho about the fraudulent money on the run in the country.

Police Spoke’sperson Inspector Mpiti Mopeli revealed that Sekata Motloheloa of Likhoele Mafeteng ad Rorisang Leemisa of Quthing were arrested and appeared before Magistrate court charged with the possession of fraudulent money worth 290 000 Maloti.

He said each person was granted 2000 Maloti bail but Leemisa failed to pay and is awaiting trial in Correctional service.

They are expected to reappear in court on the 27th November 2017.
