LESOTHO PRIME MINISTER ATTENDS THE 25TH COMMONWEALTH SUMMIT IN BRITAIN
Lesotho Prime Minister attends the 25th Commonwealth summit in Britain

The Right Honorable Prime Minister Dr Motsoahae Thomas Thabane and other government officials, departed to Britain yesterday to attend the 25th Commonwealth conference.

The press secretary in the prime minister’s office Mr Thabo Thakalekoala, said the conference will start on the 19th April and end on the 20th April this year, and will be officiated by Queen Elizabeth II.

Mr Thakalekoala said during the conference Commonwealth countries, will discuss issues relating to trade and investment among themselves, and issues relating to democracy and terrorism, as many country seem to be affected by terrorism.

He said Commonwealth strives to strengthen democracy, and ensure that human rights are respected in its member states.

He further said the prime minister will proceed to Angola to attend the SADC double troika summit, where member states will discuss political and security situation, in Lesotho and Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC).
