Lesotho First Lady hands over sheep to shepherds in Mokhotlong.

The wife of Lesotho Prime Minister Mrs ‘Maesaiah Thabane, will hand over 160 sheep to shepherds from different constituencies in Mokhotlong tomorrow.

The Public Relations Officer in the office of the First Lady Mr Monyane Selasi, said the sheep to be handed over to the shepherds are the Merino sheep, and they are going to be handed over to shepherds in four constituencies in Mokhotlong, which are Malingoaneng no.77, Senqu no.78, Mokhotlong no.79 and Bobatsi no.80.

Mr Selasi further said four shepherds from each constituency are going to be selected, and that each shepherd will be given ten sheep.

He indicated that the criteria of selecting the shepherds, will be organized by the office of District Administrator in Mokhotlong, and the ceremony will be held at Mokhotlong Pitso Ground at ten o’clock tomorrow.

He went on to say the ceremony is financed by the Government of Lesotho, through the office of the Prime Minister with the money set aside for helping vulnerable people.
