Police urges women to use contraceptives

A 24 years old man of Quthing Ha-Lebelonyana appeared before the Quthing Magistrate Court on the 8th May 2018, on rape charges of a 28 years old disabled woman.

Police Spokesperson Supritendent Mpiti Mopeli explained that the victim was raped immediately after her younger brother left as they were together collecting firewood.

The accused was arrested by the police and will appear before the court again on the 22nd May this year.

Meanwhile he is still in police custody.

On the other hand Thaba-Tseka Police are still in search of a woman who abandoned her little baby and left it to die.

Therefore the police urges women to use contraceptives in order to avoid unwanted pregnancy.
