The Minister of Energy and Meteorology Honorable Mokoto Hlaele, introduced the new Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) board members in Maseru yesterday.

The new members are the chairperson Mr Refiloe Matekane, LEC director and board member Mr Thabo Nkhahle, Dr Mphu Ramatlapeng, Dr Leketekete Ketso, Professor Molibeli Taele as well as Mr Lefa Motlalane.

In his speech the Minister said the government expects LEC to meet all the needs of Basotho, and to renew its services.

He therefore appealed to all members of the board and LEC stuff to work together in serving the nation.

The General Secretary in the  Ministry of Energy Mr Khomoatsana Tau also appealed to members of the board, to always remember to serve the nation with love and also that the services provided by LEC affect the nation.
