At least 83% of Basotho are using the pit latrine toilets which are in good conditions throughout the country.

This was said by the National Executive committee that looks at the way of living within Basotho nation, from the disaster management authority where it is reported that the rate at which the toilets are built is satisfying.

The committee further said that it is pleased with the Government of Lesotho, that participated and invested in water affairs during the dry seasons in the year 2014/2015.

However it also showed that water supply in the country is also satisfying as it has risen to 92%.
