Queen ‘Mamohato Hospital faces a shortage of beds for patients.

The Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Health Advocate ‘Mole K’humalo and his team visited Queen ‘Mamohato Hospital in Maseru yesterday, to plan different ways of curbing the challenge of shortage of beds for patients that is facing the hospital.

During the visit the officer in the Department of Marketing and Communications Office of the Ministry of Health Mr Tumisang Mokoai, said the Ministry of Health and its stakeholders is intending to save lives.

He indicated that the situation is getting worse, and his ministry is working round the clock to solve it and save lives by all means available.

Mr Mokoai explained that they are in negotiations with different hospitals in the country, to transfer some patients and reduce the pressure at Queen ‘Mamohato Hospital.

He further called on the employees of the hospital and family members of patients to be cooperative on this matter.
