The ongoing construction of Quthing bus terminal has been suspended following an interim court order issued by the Quthing Magistrate Court.

The court order was issued on June 03, this year to the Quthing Urban Council and Founder Construction Engineering (PTY) Ltd as the respondents in the case while the Applicant is 'Mateboho Rosenberg.

According to the court order, respondents were restrained from installing structures, construction works or making any developments or instructing any person, instructor or agent to develop or put structures on Applicant's plot No. 17684-62 as it appears on the cadastral map situated at Lower Moyeni Ha-Lehlabela in the Quthing district.

Therefore, there is a pending finalisation of enactment proceedings now pending in court between Rosenberg and Quthing Urban Council as well as the Construction Engineering company. The Quthing Urban Council Deputy Chairperson Mr. Nepo Lehloenya has acknowledged receipt of the court order.

The 12 months construction of Quthing bus terminal started earlier this year and it is expected to be complete by November.
