MASERU - As the Prime Minister (PM), Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane celebrates three years anniversary in this position, some sectors of the society feel that slowly but surely there is progress in terms of developing Lesotho.

"We must be patient and allow him to finish his term for a number of successes have been achieved despite other challenges," former Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Lesotho to the United Nations (UN), Mr. Refiloe Litjobo has said.

Mr. Litjobo who is also a former Parliamentarian highlighted that ongoing construction and refurbishment of roads across the Country is a huge success, one that could never go unnoticed.

He explained that in comparison to the political turmoil the country has experienced, things are getting better by the day,  hence the need  to be patient,  support the government's  transformative journey.

Additionally, the former Ambassador also highlighted the issue of livestock theft, where he said people were being shot and killed maliciously when their livestock were being stolen.

He alluded that not that this is no longer happening but there is a slight change, hope and light.

He concluded by congratulating the PM along with coalition partners,  stakeholders, urging all to stand in solidarity in spite of challenges facing the Country so as to register more developments in the upcoming years.

Apart from serving  as Ambassador back then in 2018, Mr. Litjobo has been a Member of Parliament locally from 2015 to 2017. He has also  worked as a Senior Technical Advisor in the Ministry of Health as well as served at   World Vision amongst others.
