The European Union celebrated Europe Day yesterday in Maseru at its residence where government officials of Lesotho including the deputy prime minister honorable Monyane Moleleki and ministers graced the ceremony with their presence
EU Lesotho says Europe day does not only symbolizes unity among European union member states but also celebrates its partnership with various countries around the world where it has more than one hundred and thirty delegates
Speaking on this day the minister of Law and constitutional affairs honorable Lebohang Hlaele said that the government is fully commited to set up a sustainable and transparent public finance management system, in order to address challenges of the past ,adding that the pledge is an attestation of the engagement to the reforms process and the charge to the public service agenda
He highlighted that this year the EU mission divulged the benefits of EPA the Economic Partnership Agreement that EU signed with Lesotho among other SADC countries to broaden opportunities for Basotho entrepreneurs paving way for them to trade with Eoropean countries and other SADC countries
