Maseru __ A 38-year-old man of Matholeng who works at one of the high schools in Mafeteng is allegedly charged with raping 3 male students. This was revealed by Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) Inspector 'Mareabetsoe Mofoka when presenting weekly reports at a press conference held in Maseru on Tuesday.
According to Inspector Mofoka all the charges are reported to the police.
She said that the suspect used every opportunity he got to execute his behaviour to the learners whether in the classroom or staffroom. She stated that while the pupils are seated in groups, the teacher used his tactics to lure his victims so that they can be left alone.
Furthermore, the Inspector explained that till today there are only 3 boys aged 16 who came forward.
"The teacher used to call the students, questioned them about sex talk, touching or making them touch his private parts and kissing the boys forcefully," She added.
Inspector Mofoka said that this act of behaviour caused the learners to be uncomfortable. She stated that two boys came forward yesterday after the teacher's suspension because they were fearing to report thinking they would get in trouble.
