The Portfolio Committee on Law and Public Safety Cluster, visited the families of victims of the Lesotho police campaign, of searching for illegal weapons at Kao in Butha-Buthe district, in which one person died and others were injured.

The chairperson of the committee Honorable Lekhetho Mosito, said the committee visited families of the victims to investigate the campaign, and also said it will continue to visit the victims, as part of its investigations which started on Wednesday this week.

On the other side, Honorable Mosito said the police explained that a special group of investigators has been formed, to investigate the Kao incident and that it will give a report when the investigations are completed.
