Whilst the National Assembly awaits advice from the Auditor General with regard to consideration of Senate amendments to Tenth Amendment to the Constitution Bill, 2024, the House continued to consider those which did not need his advice.

The Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane disclosed before Members of Parliament that after he adjourned the House on Monday, he sent a message to the Auditor General on the matter and he pledged to be in the House around 14:00 p.m on Tuesday. However he said the Auditor General did not show up at that time and ruled that the House should continue with amendments which will not need his advice.The House therefore considered such amendments although it did not approve some of them.
