Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD) has refuted allegations that Member of Parliament (MP) Mr. Tšeliso Mokhosi recently appointed as Minister of Labour and Employment has been sucked from his ministerial position.

News making rounds on social media indicate that Mr. Mokhosi’s position has been revoked due to other government partners being unsatisfied with the allocation.

Speaking in an interview on Monday, LCD Public Relations Officer Mr. Apesi Ratšele said this is not true saying it is just propaganda intended to cause confusion. He said Mr. Mokhosi is still the Minister of the government of Lesotho.

Mr. Mokhosi was re-elected LCD Deputy Leader in April this year during the party’s elective conference.

Meanwhile LCD is one of the eight political parties that have formed the coalition government led by Revolution For Prosperity (RFP).
