With the purpose of motivating Fobane High School soccer team, Member of Parliament for Kolonyama constituency gave them a soccer attire on Monday at Fobane High School premises in Leribe.Talking to the agency, Mr. Mahlathini Lempe said this comes after the shootings which took place at Fobane in the past months this year.

He indicated as the result the team failed to take part during the constituency tournament together with other schools. Mr. Lempe said in the past months he managed to give out netball attire to Maqasane High school, Kolonyama High school and football attire to Emmanuel English Medium and Renekeng Secondary School. Member of Parliament clarified that he supports all the schools within the constituency during their normal sports tournaments hosted every year, adding that he also gave out soccer and netball balls to primary schools.

He indicated that this is an act of motivation to the pupils so that they continue in sports in the years to come despite the challenges they come across.In conclusion, he said sports is also important in children;s development as nowadays they even earn a living through sports, taking them to different places in the world.
